Meet Our Dogs

Crumbs is from Mexico. While on vacation, Dori discovered Crumbs and 3 other paralyzed dogs, all hit by cars. His girlfriend Manchitas (also paralyzed) is his lifetime buddy. These two have been with us for over 6 years and still are waiting for a special home. More on Crumbs

This is our girl from Mexico. She and Crumbs are now over 7 years old. They are both paralyzed in their back legs but get around amazingly! We are determined to keep them together! More on Manchitas

Cash came to us when his owner brought him into a Georgia shelter to be euthanized because her had bilateral luxating patellas. He needed orthopedic surgery on both knees. We took him and provided him with just that. Cash cost alot of cash but he was well worth it! More on Cash

Lolita is one of our litter of 5 pups from Puerto Rico that came with their mom. She is almost 4 months old and is so sweet!

Sweet Hugo, his mom and his siblings came from Puerto Rico and are simply adorable!

Nina came with her 4 month old siblings and mom. They flew in from Puerto Rico on November 26! Just in time to celebrate the holiday with us!

Tommy is one of 5, 4 month old puppies from Puerto Rico that just arrived! They and mom will be all vetted Thanksgiving week and getting ready for forever homes!

This little beagle mix pup is less than a year old and is a doll! Cookie was in a high kill shelter in the south and she is way too young to be at risk! She hitched a ride with some other pups up to New York so she can find a forever home! She would make an awesome family dog for any family.

This little boy is less than a year old and is a medium sized, family perfect dog! Scooter was in a high kill shelter in the south and is so happy to be safe and sound at Save-A-Pet but he needs a forever home!

Do you hear what I hear?

This Christmas star’s name is Archie and he is an adorable donkey mix Well maybe terrier mix. Archie is 4 years old and came from a very crowded municipal shelter in Georgia . He would make an awesome walking, hiking, couch potato buddy. Archie is FUN! He loves everyone he meets, young and old and is good with other dogs. He’s very interested in the cats so we aren’t quite sure how he’d be with them. Let’s find Archie a home for the holidays!

This little 3 month old female puppy is from a kill shelter in Georgia where sadly dogs are euthanized simply due to lack of space and homes. She is a lucky pup that would make a family very lucky this holiday season.

Lola is also from a high kill shelter down south. This sweet, precious girl is 3 years old and and would make a perfect addition to any home. She is gentle and loving and well trained. Lola is about 37 pounds of pure love!
