We are open 7 days a week for adoptions from 11-5 and 12-4 Sundays

All our rescued dogs come from desperate situations. They are individuals who need love, patience and forever homes. If you can’t adopt now, please consider sponsoring one of our amazing canines while they await adoption

All our dogs are heart worm tested, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped, treated for external and internal parasites and are ready to rock and roll into a home!

    Jason was a death row dog in Manhatten who came to us and was adopted out but chased the cat non stop, so now he needs a no cat home. He would be great in a quiet home with no small children as it takes him time to warm up. His life is so topsy turvy he doesn’t know what happened. He just needs somebody to love! More on Jason

    Meadow was about to be euthanized in a kill shelter down in Georgia, but the staff begged rescue to take her because she is so sweet and loving!

    Little Foot is back with us after his new mommy got severely allergic to him. This little boy is so disappointed. He thought he hit the jackpot. Little Foot has to wear a diaper or be on wee wee pads as he cannot control his bladder or bowels very well. But he promises his heart works beautifully and he hopes yours does too!

    At just 7 months old, Lavender has already had quite a journey. This sweet yellow Lab/scruffy Terrier mix was rescued by a kind-hearted 80-year-old gentleman who wanted nothing more than to help her have a better life. Unfortunately, due to his health, he wasn't able to keep her—but thanks to his compassion, Lavender is now safe with Save-A-Pet and ready to find the forever family she deserves.

    Sparky and Squirt are an abuse surviving tag team. For 14 years they suffered abuse behind closed doors. Now they are free. They must go together and they have plenty of life left in them! We gave them both dentals, neutered, and full veterinary treatment!

    Yoshi’s story is a miracle story. He was left to starve to death on the streets of NYC before we saved him in May. It took that long to fatten him up and get him healthy. Now he is ready for his forever home!
