All dogs and cats 5 years and over are required to receive pre-surgical blood work to ensure that there are no underlying conditions that could cause a problem during surgery. Pre-op exam and blood work must be done at least one week prior to surgery and can be scheduled below ($85).
*Additional fees for: in heat, uterine infection (mucometra/pyometra), retained testicle(s) and umbilical hernia repair are dependent on each individual surgery. If your female dog is in heat, we recommend waiting 2-3 months before spaying.*

Surgery Day:
*Feeding instructions*:
-Dogs/cats over 6 months old- No food after 10pm the night before surgery.
-Puppies/Kittens under 6 months old- Give a tablespoon of food the morning of surgery.
-All pets can have water.
Cats and Dogs
Each individual cat must be brought in it’s own hard plastic carrier and labeled with their name and your last name. Dogs must be leashed.
If your dog is over 80 lbs. please call us at 631-473-6333 to confirm that we can accommodate your surgery appointment.
Feral Cats
For feral cat “TNR” appointments: Call us (631) 473-6333 or email SaveAPetUSAorg@yahoo.com for a surgery date.
*Must come in traps, exhibit feral/wild behavior, and get ear tipped.*
Cats may be boarded for pre or post surgery for $15.00 per night.
Trapped ferals should come with a hard, plastic transfer carrier to recover in.
Feral spay/neuter includes ear tip, rabies vaccine and FVRCP vaccine.
