When King arrived at Save-A-Pet, it was hard to believe he was only ten years old, let alone a purebred German Shepherd. His body was almost completely bald. His skin was black, thick, cracked, and covered in a severe yeast infection that had likely been left untreated for months—perhaps years. Every inch of his body was uncomfortable.

The smell of yeast and infection followed him everywhere he went.He had been surviving... not living.But even through all of that suffering, King never stopped being gentle.He looked at us with trusting eyes, as if he somehow knew that this time, someone wasn't going to give up on him. We promised him we wouldn't. Now he is getting home cooked meals made by us with a ton of supplements and medications, including medicated baths.

Please help us give him all he deserves and become his Royal Majesty the King again!
