Rescuing Senior Dogs
Mission:
Elderleash is a compassionate rescue initiative by Save-A-Pet USA, dedicated exclusively to saving senior dogs from high-kill shelters where their age, medical needs, and vulnerability often mean they have no hope of adoption. Through this program, we aim to provide these deserving souls with the medical care they need, loving foster homes to recover in, and ultimately, forever homes where they can live out their golden years in peace and dignity.
Why Elderleash?
Senior dogs are often the first to be euthanized in overcrowded shelters. Many come in with treatable conditions, a lifetime of loyalty behind them, and hearts still full of love. Emergency Shelter Pulls: Rapid rescue of senior dogs at risk of immediate euthanasia.
