When animal control entered the house in Georgia, the stench was overwhelming. Feces and filth covered the floor. Trash was piled high. And trembling in the middle of it all were Diva and Ashlyn — two of twelve forgotten dogs living in squalor, barely surviving.

They had no beds. No clean water. No medical care.

They had nothing — except each other.

Diva’s story — the one that broke all of our hearts. Not only did she live in this filthy home, but she had been caught in a cruel hunting trap and left to suffer. Her back left foot was completely severed off and the wound, raw and exposed, was left untreated for days. She's still healing, physically and emotionally. But she is finally safe with us!
